I think I can safely say that The Gilmore Girls is my favorite show. The stories are great and I love the quick witty humor.
My Mom is hooked too, I forced her to sit down and watch it with me by monopolizing the remote one night shortly after Rogue moved out.
I had been hooked for a while, but it seems the addiction becomes more powerful when you have a partner in crime.
Now its a safe bet to say thats pretty much the only thing we watch. (Aside from Viva La Bam, Family Guy, and The Simpsons.) Its set to record on the DVR and my mom even went out and bought the third season on DVD so we could watch it when we've seen all the other ones we have recorded.
Yep, its safe to say, we're hooked.
I spent nearly my entire day in class. Its ok, I jumped even more ahead in my studies.
Tomorrow I am at Birney for the day.
Wednesday night I close with Matt again.
Which is always fun because he always leaves me next in charge and always pulls me in the back so we can talk about whatever, its usually a good bashing round about Kevin and all the little notes he leaves for us around the store. Or about what kind of harassment he gave to us this week. This last Saturday was particularly fun because we hadn't seen each other in 3 weeks so I got to tell him about my Kevin calling me stupid story, except for the fact that my mistake was only made because he put the lemon ice sorbet in the place where the sweet cream is supposed to go...
I was training people how to build cakes, Kevin had opened and set the ice cream out. I make cakes, I dont always taste the flavor to make sure it is what it says it is. Besides, he'd go nuts because that teaspoon of ice cream could be sold, thus losing him a profit and thats stealing. So anyway, we all built a few cakes, I was walking everyone through it. Then 20 minutes later we realize that the sweet cream wasn't sweet cream. We all laugh, call Kevin to see what he wants us to do with the cakes. Instead he gets me on the phone and says,
"That was stupid, you're stupid! How can someone who is always so on the ball, make such a stupid mistake!"
Um, I'm sorry, first it was a mistake and I haven't screwed up yet and secondly I didn't set that ice cream out.
Its whatever, but it happen a few weeks ago and it was another story along with many others that Matt and I had to exchange.
I also get to close with Moped! this week.
Its cool that her and I live so close to each other and we've been hanging out more. She is so funny and I enjoy having someone else to hang out with.
I am only working 3 days this week and I couldn't be more pleased. I am working really long shifts on the days that I work, but still...its nice to have 4 days off.
Payday tomorrow!
Time to relax and make dinner, its so Suzy Homemaker of me.
